Ehson Odinaev

Ehson Odinaev, a Tajik blogger and supporter of the banned political opposition movement Group 24, has been missing since May 2015. He disappeared after leaving his apartment in St. Petersburg, Russia, to visit a nearby pharmacy and never returned. His family suspects he was detained by Russian police and forcibly repatriated to Tajikistan at the request of the Tajik government to silence his political criticism. His current whereabouts remain unknown.
