To my fellow fighters
“To my fellow fighters, Whose country is this? (Ours) Are we tired? (No) Will we give up? (No) Where are we going? (To Europe) My fellow fighters, even when I stood on Rustaveli Avenue, I tirelessly shouted these words, and I will continue to say them. Many more truthful slogans have been added to them. I am neither a prisoner nor morally broken, despite their many attempts. I am a free person and the people’s movement will not stop (as it comes from the heart of the country). I fear that one day I will wake up and see the Russian flag above us. What is most interesting and inspiring is that this “fear” gives me the strength to continue the fight I’ve started. I am firm, I am well — physically and mentally, and I am with you all. We will not stop, we will fight until the end. Truth will prevail in the end. I read your letters carefully (I may even read them 10 times), they give me strength, and I want to do more. Whether it is sticking a sticker or refusing to recognize these laws – I don’t consider the freedom of expression as something punishable. Do not be afraid, how many will they arrest? How many will they fine? (Don’t walk alone just to avoid titushkis.) We all know very well what is happening, whose hand is involved, and what the goal is. It is said: “Don’t look for the culprit, find the solution.” We should not look for the culprit, because we know who they are; we must find the way out of this crisis and from this regime. The more we endure, the more we will win. Tell me in any way how I can help. Even from here, I am ready to support you. I am in Block E, Cell 27, accused by an illegitimate government. I love and am proud of all of you. I have a lot more to say, and I will write to you again. We will win gloriously . Let us take this oath. “Georgia will never be called Russia.” “We will win Gloriously.” “The Russian flag will never be over Georgia.” PS: To the opposition: “There is no time for debate or quarrels.
